I'm Emily, currently working as a Content Writer at Galvanize/Hack Reactor, where I work on stories and messaging with the goal of helping folks find educational and professional satisfaction as they train to become software engineers.

The bulk of my professional experience has been a mix of writing, editing, marketing, and content development, whether as a full-time staff member, consultant, or freelance contributor. It's truly my pleasure to work with words and I love what I do. 

I earned a master's degree in Online Journalism from the University of Southern California after studying English Literature at Chapman University. In my spare time, I enjoy playing and watching sports (Lakers forever!), staying current on current events, writing, eating burritos by the pile, reading fiction and nonfiction in rotation, floating in water, and listening to live music.
